Solar Examiner may earn money from some of the links and content on this site. This page explains how we tell you.
What may earn us money
- Affiliate links: if you click a link and buy something or sign up, the company may pay us a commission.
- Sponsored content: a company may pay us to publish an article or a placement about its product or service.
How we label it
Content that is sponsored, or that contains affiliate links, is clearly labeled at the top of the article, before the content begins, with wording such as “Sponsored” or “Contains affiliate links”. Our ordinary reporting is not labeled this way.
What it means for you
Affiliate links normally do not change the price you pay. A commission or sponsorship is not a recommendation by itself, and you should compare options, quotes and contract terms for yourself.
Questions
If you see something that is not labeled and should be, please tell us through the contact page. See also our editorial policy.
